Sin & Generational Curses

Praise God.We continue with our series Teaching on the Christian worldview, specifically on the causes of difficulties in life.And we established one of them is oppression by the enemy.Today we speak about sin and subsequent generational curses.First of all, let's have a perspective that is seen in John 10:10, which says the thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy.But Jesus came that we may have life and that we may have it more abundantly.The thief is the devil, he's not your friend.So when you are doing evil things, know that you are cooperating with your enemy.And one of the ways that the enemy uses to oppress people is through sin.

See, sin may seem fun, especially at fast or even as you're going, but just know it enslaves you.See, the fact is, you're either a slave to Yeshua or a slave to the devil.So what matters is which side do you choose?And I'll tell you this being a slave to sin, which means you're a slave to the devil, is very tiresome.Ask any alcoholic or drug abuser,adulterer or any other person.At some point they'd want to stop, but it never ends.And that's why Jesus came to break that slavery.John 8 34 says Yeshua answered them I can guarantee this truth.Whoever lives a sinful life is a slave to sin. The Lord bless his word.

And you see what follows when we open up portals for the enemy to enslave us.We invite generational curses.A lot of people are undergoing suffering because of the sins of their forefathers and some because of their sins.This is detailed in the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter five verse nine, and many other verses. “Never worship them or serve them, because I, Yahweh your Elohim, am El Kanna.El Kanna means Jealous God. I punish children for their parents’ sins to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. The Lord bless his word. So a major cause of suffering in this life is generational curses.You find people trying to do right, to get ahead in life, but something pulls them back, or they die at a certain age, or they suffer from addictions, of certain drugs, or alcohol, or any other sin. It could be a generational curse.Try and see what's happening in your situation,in your life, or in your friend's life,or family's life, and pray against this.The Lord is merciful.That's why the word also says my people perish due to lack of knowledge.If you have this knowledge, use it wisely and it shall be helpful.We shall continue with another instalment tomorrow.God bless you.
