How did it happen?

Praise God. Welcome to today's teaching.

Once again, welcome aboard this teaching. And today we read from the book of John chapter nine and verse 26 and it says, "then they said to him again, what did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?" The Lord, bless His word. See, this is the story of a young man who was blind. He was a beggar. And. He called out on Jesus and Jesus healed him. But the religious class could not accept this to be true because there was no way this man Jesus, would be able to do these things. They were stuck in their old ways. The old covenant, the covenant of Moses, that they rejected Jesus Christ. Now they were questioning him, and he answered them after calling his parents. And he said, what happened? He was blind, and now he could see.

And in today's Scripture we see. The question that you're asking. How did he open your eyes? Now, many of you are going through things or have gone through things, and you have pulled through by the grace of God, whether you recognise that or not. It's His grace that keeps us alive. And people are wondering, including your relatives, thus says the Lord, how did this occur? See, it's like being born again. How people are filled with the Spirit? No one understands because people get regenerated over time and it's by the power of the Holy Spirit. You cannot point a finger and say, this is exactly what happened to a T, so let them wonder, and you know that the Lord God Almighty worked His ways.

And if you go back to this story, you will see this man was given instructions on what to do by Jesus. Jesus could have easily just said, be healed and He would have. But this time, this creative miracle went about in a different way. God spat on the soil and mixed that, and applied it on his eyes and told him to go wash in the river Siloam. And I would say this would have been a bit ridiculous. But we are here to follow instructions. God desires us to obey Him more than to just question things all the time. He says, trust me and I'll show you.

And indeed, this man followed the instructions and he was able to see, so the Lord God Almighty has sent me to tell you the things that He has dropped in your spirit for you to do, that he has sent his servant to tell you to do, or even total strangers to do. Do not despise these things because they don't make sense, or they don't look glamorous, or they seem a bit off. Just go ahead and do what you are needed to do and He will work his miracles. He will pull you out of your financial crisis. He will pull sin out of you. Addictions will be broken just by following simple instructions. This is the same thing that happened to King Naaman, who had leprosy, and he sought the services of the Lord through Prophet Elisha. And, you know, Elijah told him to go and wash seven times in River Jordan. You know, he is the king. And he was furious until eventually he did it and miracles happened.

So follow instructions. Don't ask too many questions as long as it's from the Lord and you perceive it's from the Lord, do it. And if you've not given your life to Jesus, this is the chance. We live in the end times and our time is nigh. Until next time. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Amen.
